The company has opened one of its Churrascarias, or Brazilian steakhouses, in an 8,000 sq ft unit on Hanover St on 11th November following a £1m investment. The restaurant is the third outlet opened by the chain’s Brazilian founder, Kleber Magalhaes, since he set up in a converted pub in Manchester’s Northern Quarter four years ago.
Bem Brasil has quickly become a firm favourite in Manchester, not least among the city’s Brazilian footballers looking for an authentic taste of home. The initial restaurant was followed by a £1m outlet which opened last year, featuring a huge upstairs dining area and a lively Brazilian bar serving a great variety of Caipirinhas.
Magalhaes believes that Liverpool is a natural home for Bem Brasil.
“Brasil is the most multi-cultural nation on earth, and that is why Liverpool is so close to my heart," he said. "It has an exciting vibe and a love of music, food and culture, which is what Bem Brasil is about.
“Our food is authentic Brazilian, our venue reflects real Brazilian art, and our passion for football is the greatest in the world. When you combine food, music, art, passion and football in a truly multicultural city like Liverpool, you can feel the excitement!”
